Ankeny, AIA
Mr. Ronald
Ankeny is a founding partner of Ankeny Kell Architects (AKA)
and has over 33 years of varied experience in architectural
design and planning. Prior to the formation of AKA, he worked
with several distinguished architectural firms, including
Ralph Rapson and Associates, and the Paris-based firm of Marcel
Breuer Architects.
Ron has expertise in multiple areas, including: project management, facility programming, feasibility
studies, master planning, site analysis and selection, design,
design development, contract document coordination, contract
negotiation, and cost control
analysis. His talents can be seen in a variety of project types, from community centers to corporate offices. A signifcant portion of Ron's work has been with retail grocery stores. Since 1976, Ron has been responsible for the architectural design of over
95 grocery stores and the interior design of seven stores.
