Bloomington Police Facility includes spaces for administration,
investigation, patrol, community policing, SWAT team functions,
as well as detention, 911/dispatch, evidence storage and processing,
a fitness area, and underground parking for police vehicles.
It also includes state-of-the-art security and technology
both in electronic systems, construction products and techniques.
The patrol
department is located entirely on the first floor with police
entry, squad room, duty bag cubbies, patrol offices, report
writing, evidence processing and locker rooms clustered together.
Administration, investigation and clerical areas, along with
the police lunchroom and a shared Emergency Operations Center,
are located on the second floor.
