Chaska Community Center Ice Arena
Chaska, MN

The Chaska Community Center Ice Arena includes two ice-sheets that serve a variety of constituents: area high school boys and girls hockey teams, Chaska Figure Skating Club, Chaska Skate School, the Men’s Ice Hockey League, and open skating time for the general public. This component of the Chaska Community Center originally contained one ice-sheet that was also used as a field house for six-months of the year. The Center realized the broader interest in having ice facilities available year-round, so in 1998, they contracted with AKA to create a second ice-sheet. The addition also included new air conditioning and dehumidification systems, and upgrade to the ice-making equipment,

The Ice Arena provides bleacher seating for 1,000 spectators, eight team rooms, changing area, a snack bar, and an observation gallery.
