Phase I: Myers Field House
New Construction
Mankato, MN Phase I focused on the design and construction of a new field house. The new
Myers Field House has become the premier track and field facility
for NCAA-sanctioned Division II sports in the Upper Midwest,
raising MSU's profile and bringing new visitors to campus.
It features a 200-meter track with 8 running lanes and a wide
65-foot radius curve and spectator seating for up to 1,000.
The Myers Field House also serves as a community event center, providing
space for high school tournaments, popular concerts, a cardiac
rehabilitiation program, and summer training camp for the
Minnesota Vikings Football team, among others. |
