Mankato, MN Phase
II included renovation and expansion of existing facilities
to meet instructional recreation and athletic needs, correct
building code deficiencies, meet gender equity and meet the
standards of the NCAA. New construction improved circulation
routes and created previously unprogrammed student gathering
spaces within the Student Athletic Facilities area.
AKA designed
a circulation "hub" along one of MSU's major indoor
paths to link all three phases together, easing student access
and encouraging cross-pollination between programs and services.
