its grand opening this past fall, the newly renovated and renamed
Otto Recreation Center provides a welcoming multi-use recreational
space for students and faculty. The Center includes: basketball/volleyball
space, walking/running track, cardio machines with wireless
access, locker rooms and lounge area. Natural light is a prominent
asset of the new design, as is it's unique air return system, disguised as a giant "M." With its purple color and prominent location, the "M," is both functional and fun, helping air flow, while promoting school spirit.
Otto Recreation Center is the capstone of an extraordinary multi-phase,
campus effort and seven year partnership with MSU; uniting
educational, athletic, and social functions into one central
area.
