The Phoenix
Coyotes Training Facility
includes year-round training accommodations for the National
Hockey League’s (NHL) Phoenix Coyotes. The facility includes two
NHL ice sheets with spectator seating, a training center with
weight training equipment, medical and physical therapy spaces
and corporate offices. The main entrance and lobby area includes
a pro shop, team shop facility, office lease space, public
restrooms, café, and party rooms.
The public
is invited to use the training facility for community recreation,
figure skating, open skating and viewing of Coyotes practices.
The community recreation spaces are located in the main entrance
and lobby area. The aesthetics of these spaces promote a sense
of energy and movement through the use of bright colors and
walls that create irregular forms. The colors also connect
the community to their home team. The
Phoenix Coyotes Training Facility has become a central point
for skating in the greater Phoenix area.
