Red Wing Community Ice Arena

The Red
Wing Community Ice Arena was funded entirely through private
donations and is the first phase in planning for an extended
recreational site on the existing Red Wing High School Campus.
In addition to the community ice arena, the plan suggests
the potential for an additional ice sheet and development
of an aquatics, gymnastics, and tennis center.
The ice
arena provides much needed ice time for the local hockey and
figure skating community. It has an exceptional entry sequence
for an arena of its size as spectators enter from concourse
level, 13 feet above the ice surface, and have an exciting
and dynamic view of the ice. The ice arena includes one NHL-size
ice sheet, spectator seating, varsity team rooms, figure skating
rooms, an arcade, concessions, and management offices.
