for Pulte Homes, this community center is located in the heart
of a single- and multi-family residential development located
in Hugo, Minnesota. Water’s Edge Community Center offers amenities
not typically offered by other residential developments, such
as: a workout room with state-of-the-art equipment, locker
rooms, leisure and lap swimming pools, a game room, a conference
room with serving kitchen, a fireplace room, and outdoor courts.
The center promotes community identity and provides opportunities
for neighbors to socialize.
In response
to maintenance and energy issues, the interior of the residence
is finished with a coffered wood ceiling, simple wood trim
and window casing, painted walls, acoustical panel ceilings,
and tile floors in high-traffic areas.
